It all started when…

After a number of years of decline and on the brink of closing its doors, Calvary United Methodist Church opened its heart to a new way of being. Through a significant move of the Holy Spirit the congregation opened itself to a rebirth as a new congregation.

On Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2021, the unanimous vote was approved to begin the process of rebirth to become Grace Meadow Fellowship. We believed changing our name was a necessary step to honor God’s vision. The process of transformation began on July 11, 2021 and our trustees completed the process February 6, 2022.

In the first eight months,  we experienced a nearly 400% growth in attendance, the return of children for the first time in two decades, prayers for physical, spiritual, emotional healing and supernatural breakthrough.

Through another significant and supernatural move of the Holy Spirit, the congregation voted to officially disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church on March 12, 2023.

July 1, 2023, marked the end of an era as Grace Meadow Fellowship officially became an independent, non-denomination church. We are excited for our new mission and new passion (vision) for the future. Inspired by Isaiah 61:1-4, we will greet you with a warm smile and a mix of children, adults, and senior adults who love God and love one another.

Come see a newly renovated building, with an intimate church setting and beautiful stain glass windows. Discover a Grace-filled atmosphere with a Spirit-filled outlook and a culture where your presence will be welcomed and your absence noticed. Be met by caring congregants, who led with passion and serve with love. They want to share in your joys and concerns, encourage and pray with you, and point you to trust in Jesus, living a life led by the Holy Spirit. Dive into God's word with our Pastor as we seek God's presence, gifts and truth in all we do (and on occasion gather for a good potluck with fellowship and fun)!

It is believed that God has placed a hand on this place and the Holy Spirit has a special purpose for this congregation as it ministers to Weatherford, Texas.

Come join the journey!

Why the Name Grace Meadow?

The foundation of Jesus’ ministry on Earth was all about Grace. For us, instead of leading with condemnation, we first will lead with the love and grace of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Christ.

Revealed to this congregation in a dream of one of its leaders, the concept of Meadow became a clear and unique expression that provides extra guidance to those who serve.

Meadow is an acronym for:

  • M is for Miracles. We believe the power of miracles is accessible and obtainable today.

  • E is for Encouragement. We believe in giving support, confidence and hope to all people we encounter.

  • A is for Anointing. We believe in the dynamic and unrestricted anointing of the Holy Spirit and His gifts.

  • D is for Discovery. We believe in discovering Jesus Christ through a personal relationship, intimacy with Holy Spirit and application of the Word of God.

  • O is for Outreach. We believe in the effort to connect and aid those who are weak and in need of the love of Christ and the fullness His grace offers.

  • W is for Worship. We believe that we were created to Worship God and honor Jesus through our lives.
